About me
My Story

Having recently completed a 20+ year career in cardiac imaging & procedures (I am a registered cardiac ultrasonographer and a registered cardiac invasive specialist) in midtown Atlanta, I am a happy resident of The Villages, FL. Blessed to grow up in Eastern North Carolina, I moved to Atlanta (and Tampa for several years) after college. I felt a calling to this work in 2014 that was cemented when I had the honor to utilize the services of a veterinarian who served as our End-of-Life doula for a beloved dachshund. Her love and spirit changed my life forever and having the benefit of her knowledge injected unimaginable ease into the experience.
My End-of-Life training was obtained from The International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA ). I currently volunteer with a local hospice organization. My memberships include the International End of Life Doula Association, the National End of Life Doula Alliance, and the Florida End of Life Doula Association.
